VITEEE Counselling 2014, Dates, Procedure, Status

VITEEE 2014 Counselling Procedure has been announced  from May 19, 2014 onwards. The First Phase of VITEEE 2014 Counselling will be held from May 19 to May 22, 2014 (revised due to elections). The VITEEE 2014 Counselling specifies rank wise details of the students shortlisted for admissions, documents required for verification and the VITEEE 2014 admission formalities. The VIT University has released the dates as per the rank for the students in accordance with theVITEEE 2014 Merit List for the first phase. Students must attend the VITEEE 2014 Counselling as per the specified schedule. Candidates can check the VITEEE 2014 Counselling Procedure and the VITEEE 2014 Counselling Dates - Phase 1 below

Procedure

For the admissions in preferred courses candidates needs to qualify the VITEEE. Once the VITEEE is qualified the candidate needs to go for counselling.

According to the ranks colleges and seats are allocated to the candidates. You can also search the official website for online VITEEE Counselling status.

Points to remember

1. Candidates are suggested to take all the required documents with them.
2. Candidate should report for VITEEE counseling 2014 on time.

Documents required during the VITEEE 2014 Counselling:

Candidates must furnish the original certificates as well as one set of photocopies

• Six Recent Passport size colour photos
• Class XII Hall Ticket copy
• Class XII or Equivalent Exam Marks Sheet
• Class X Certificate for  proof of date of birth
• VITEEE-2014 e-admit Card
• Transfer Certificate / Migration Certificate / School Leaving Certificate.
• Nativity Certificate  for candidates hailing from Jammu & Kashmir and North Eastern states 
• SC/ST Community Certificate as specified
• Student Profile filled by the student
• Affidavit by the student & parent

Fees to be paid during VITEEE 2014 Counselling: Rs 30,000 through a crossed DD (Computerised ) drawn in favour of “VIT University”, payable at Vellore

Note:

• Candidates must mention their VITEEE 2014 Application Number, Name, Mobile Number on the reverse of the Demand Draft
• Candidates must check the approved banks list from the website.

Balance fee: Rs 1,00,800/- (via a computerized Demand Draft in favour of “VIT University” payable at Vellore) to be paid on or before the specified date prior to commencement of the courses.

Note:

• Candidates who have completed their admission formalities have to open a bank account in the Indian Bank at Chennai and Vellore campuses as per their admissions.
• The Vellore campus students can also open an account in the City Union Bank in the campus.
